Hall Town Game
The ask was simple: deliver a presentation for Critical Mass' monthly internal town hall meeting — and have fun with it. So, I designed a fully functional video game.
In complete collaboration with Scott Goetz, the engineer and developer, we ideated many game-themed concepts for a monthly internal presentation — Town Hall — until arriving at the idea of actually making a fully functional video game. In our off hours, we learned how to build a game in Unity, a first for both of us, and as the game grew we enlisted the help of our friends at CM, Richard and John. I was responsible for storyboarding the narrative and creating all the 8-bit inspired artwork for the game, which was shared and enjoyed by employees and executives internationally.
